Can I listen to music on my Google Nest?

Absolutely! In addition to using your Google Nest for Helping Hand, you can also use it for all of the same features as any other Google smart device, including listening to music. You can follow the instructions in this blog post to find out how.

Whenever I say "go to Helping Hand", Google responds by saying "I didn't understand that"

Sometimes, Google will misunderstand the command that you are saying. The simplest way to ensure that Google is understanding you correctly is by following the steps in the article "View my Google Activity"

What do the status lights mean?

The emitto, as well as the IR, Bed, and Door controllers, have the status light to indicate if there is a problem. If the status light is solid green, everything is working. However, if the status light is blinking it can mean one of two things:

  • Blinking slowly: Connecting to Wi-Fi
  • Blinking quickly: Connecting to Novalte's Cloud Service

If the status light is blinking for more than 10 minutes, you can try unplugging and plugging back in the affected controller.

When controlling my system using voice and I tell Helping Hand to do something, it says "okay", but nothing happens.

If Helping Hand responds correctly when you give it a command, but your device does not respond (for example, your TV does not turn on), your emitto may not be connected properly to the Novalte Cloud Service. Please try unplugging and plugging back in your emitto.
